YAN LIN Cinematographer
Yan is a cinematographer with professional experience as a studio camera operator and
lighting designer in Shanghai, China. He has worked for China Business Network (CBN)
as a camera operator, studio manager and lighting technician on several of its television
programs. At Shanghai Media Group, he worked as studio camera and light operator, and
with Shanghai Independent Film Production Co, he worked in postproduction on Under
the Lion Mount, and cinematography in Shanghainess. In South Australia, he produced
professional DVDs for clients. His wide ranging film skills also include photography,
story boarding, editing, colour grading and underwater photography, and he is competent
in After Effects, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro and Avid Media Composer. Yan has a
Bachelor of Illumination (Communication University of China), a Master of Sociology
(Shanghai University), and a Masters in Screen Media Production (Flinders University).
CALLUM GEE Editor
Callum is an experienced editor, with interests in special effects and colour grading.
He has worked on various student film productions and is competent in Adobe
Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, as well as Java and C++
programming. He is studying a Bachelor of Media Arts with an option in Information
Technology (Flinders University), and has a Diploma of Multimedia (TAFE), and a
Cert IV of Multimedia (TAFE). With his background in information technology and
programming, Callum has developed a keen interest in the advancement of technology,
and how it affects society. In his spare time he develops video games for personal use and
with a view to the market.
SHIQIANG LI Chinese language editor
Li is currently studying a Masters in Media at Flinders University, specialising in
documentary filming and editing.
As a film student, he has worked on several productions as camera operator, film editor,
and Chinese language editor. He has also produced client documentaries about the South
Australian Art gallery, and the Adelaide Koala & Wildlife Hospital.
In China, Li worked in television as director's assistant on Sports Hero, a CCTV5 sports
program.
With solid skills in camera and editing with avid composer, Li is keen to work in film
and editing. He is also interested in making promotional videos for local companies with
Chinese clients.
